"You know, having a portrait done is not as difficult as you insist," said the painter as she stared at him. She shook her head slightly, still refusing to sit up.
"Can't you paint me like this?" she asked.
"That wouldn't be the most appropriate position, Miss Amelia," he replied, sighing.
"It's not your decision," she pointed out, and positioned her arms on the velvet throw beneath her.
