"What do you see now?" the doctor asked. Nick glanced around, clutching to a thick rope he believed to be real. He looked down and immediately regretted it. "What do you see?" 
"The ship is sinking. And below me... It's like the ocean is angry, angrier than I've ever seen," he added. 
"Now open your eyes, and tell me what you see." 
Nick looked around again, sitting up on the couch. "I'm in your office, again." 
"Do you know why you're here, Nick?" asked the doctor. 
"Because what I saw isn't real, Doctor," Nick replied, lying back.
